Training has begun

Walking mania has begun... I am walking 3-4 miles 4 times a week with one day of cross training and 2 days to rest. Plus being in the gym with my personal trainer I am gaining stamina and strength.

Back in the gym...

Finally back in the gym and getting my butt kick by Joe my personal trainer. He has worked me out twice and today we did legs. now I have pretty strong legs, but right now they feel like noodle, they are so limp...I guess it will be all worth it in the end.

Today also marked the start of the training walks. I did 2 out of the 3 miles I was suppose to do on the treadmill before my training session :). Pretty proud of myself.

Game Night Success...

Last night's game night was a success. It was a small intimate gathering, but I managed to get over $200 to go towards my walk. I also got the chance to network with a few employees of the Boys and Girls club that could help me in promoting some of my other activities....YES! The boys and Girls club rocks!

Also I donated my bingo game to the club as a small token of my appreciation... I will need to do more for them in the future...:)
