Costco pulls through

Hooooray Costco..

I got my donation from them (a $25 gift card) that will be a raffle prize for my game night March 13th at the Lacey Boys and Girls Club.

Also I have disbursed my tickets to some of my friends so that they can be sold. I am hoping to sell all 60 and hopefully I will sell even more than that. I have two ticket on hold for a friend.

Also my Pampered Chef fundraiser has made me about $40 bucks (hey...its better than nothing)

I am starting to feel a bit better about raising $2300.00 this year for breast cancer.

Getting Started

Well the meeting was tonight. I got to see some of my old team members from the 2008 3Day. We got caught up and Sandy brought her completed scrapbook. That brought back fond memories ( and guilt because my scrapbook is still not done)!

I got chills and goose bumps from watching the inspirational video. I am so ready to get the fundraising going and the trainings...

Hectic Day

Half day training, Black History celebration at work, and Dental appointments for all four of my kids (that meant picking them up from school; HS, MS, ES, and daycare). I was so glad to come home. So I got right on my laptop and here I am at 1021pm still online. I was working on my fundraiser flyer for Charlie Safari's in April. Once this is done I can start working on flyers and tickets for my wine tasting in July.

I am just hoping that people see my blogs, craigslist listing, facebook, myspace and anyother free advertising there is out there and and attend some of these events. I really don't want to rely too heavily on friends and family to fund my walk.
